The European Centre for Marine Biotechnology goes to Canada, sponsored by UK Trade and Investment

Representatives from the European Centre for Marine Biotechnology, Aquapharm and CCAP traveled to St Johns, Newfoundland to attend the 7th International Marine Biotechnology Conference.
The conference kicked off on June 7th and approximately 500 delegates were in attendance from countries across the globe. Running from 7th to 12th June, with four concurrent sessions, visits to the Ocean Sciences Centre and the Memorial University Marine Institute, the meeting brought together some of the world's leading scientists in marine biotechnology.
There were also a number of the worlds leading marine biotechnology companies and European Centre for Marine Biotechnology, Aquapharm and CCAP fostered international links with industry and researchers during the meeting and through a networking dinner organised by UK Trade and Investment.
